Parvathy Omanakuttan of 'Billa 2' fame, who was on a break for a while, is now back in action. She is all set to essay Remya Nambeesan’s character in the Bollywood remake of 'Pizza', which was a box-office hit in K’town.
Bejoy Nambiar, the director of David, has bought the remake rights of the film and Akshay Akkineni is the director of the film. DC contacted her to confirm the news, when she said, “The film has shaped up well and the shooting is going on in full swing. Akshay Oberoi pairs opposite me in this flick, and I am sure the audience would love my performance in it.” When asked about the reason for her long break, she said, “I was waiting for good projects and I was also having a good time with my family. There was talk about how I would not be suitable for south Indian films, but I believe that I can do justice to films in any language, including a K’Town film, as I am passionate about acting. I am busy with 'Pizza' remake now. But I may sign another Bollywood flick very soon.”
