APSRTC to sell food onboard

Hyderabad: With a new tie-up for onboard catering, APSRTC bus passengers can now avail of branded food packages and sweets apart from regular food packages during journey.

APSRTC is launching ‘Dinner and Sweets on-board’ service in its high-end bus services like Garuda, Garuda Plus and Vennela. The service will be launched on Saturday. Passengers can order roti packs, biryanis and Sub-way sandwiches for dinner. The orders will be delivered at the MGBS.

Also passengers can order sweet packets from Karachi Bakery, Pulla Reddy Sweets etc. by calling on 868-893-1666 three to four hours before the journey. The orders can also be placed on www.alongtheway.in

“This service will be implemented on a trial basis for six months,” said A. Koteswara Rao executive director, APS-RTC Greater Hyderabad and Hyderabad zones.
