Miscreants torch five two-wheelers
Unidentified miscreants set fire to five two-wheelers parked on Maruthi Nagar Main Road.
Bangalore: Unidentified miscreants set fire to five two-wheelers that were parked on Maruthi Nagar Main Road in Madivala police station limits early Saturday.
Five bikes were damaged in the incident.
According to the police, some of the residents near Ayyappa Swamy temple in Maruthi Nagar had parked their bikes in front of their houses.
Around 2.15 am, a passerby who was returning home saw the bikes that were set ablaze and informed the police.
By the time the police reached, some of the local residents managed to douse the fire by pouring water.
“Some mischief mongers are behind the incident. First they have set fire to two bikes and then to three bikes that were parked few metres away. There are some showrooms in the vicinity, which have CCTV cameras. We have collected the footage and are verifying. We have strong clues about those who set the bikes on fire and they will be arrested soon,” the police said.
Madivala police have registered a case in this connection.
