Naidu to hit the road from Sunday
TDP president Chandrababu Naidu to start his Prajagarjana Yatra from Tirupati.
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu will hit the road again with Prajagarjana Yatra from Tirupati on Sunday and Ongole on Monday, where he will address public meetings
with bifurcation topping the agenda besides targeting corruption, Congress, YSRC and the TRS.
In a related development, Nellore Urban Congress MLA Sridhar Krishna Reddy reportedly met Naidu recently leading to rumours of his joining the Telugu Desam. “Every major scam in India is linked to Congress. Why is Rahul Gandhi now trying to become a champion of the anti-graft agitation?” he asked.
Silent on tons of black money stashed in Swiss Bank accounts? Is it because their money has been parked? Why was he silent on Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy? corruption issue who was bailed out? What about corruption at home? Why is he silent on Robert Wadra,? he remarked while addressing a media conference at his Jubilee Hills residence here on Saturday.
Rahul Gandhi has no right to rule the country, he added. Naidu went hammer and tongs against the Congress government at the Centre listing out various scams including Adarsh, Coalgate, Augusta Helicopter, 2G Spectrum, land dealings of Robert Wadra and his family whom he said rose from a mere Rs 50 lakh business to own 12 companies including partnership in DLF and made thousands of crores in a short span. Why is Rahul Gandhi silent on this,? he asked.
TD chief said if the UPA Government was sincere it should have step up special courts and confiscated the properties of those who had illegal acquired like Jagan Mohan Reddy.? Infact, the party has ensured bail to Jagan and using CBI for political ends. It is the opposition parties which has exposed corruption,? he said.
He also pointed to the Centre attempts to nullify Supreme Court judgement banning those jailed from contesting the polls.? Why is Congress silent against tainted Ministers at the Centre like Sushil Kumar Shinde, leaders like Ashok Chavan and Ministers in the State? Telugu Desam, he said, would support the Anna Hazare and fight corruption in all spheres of life.
