APSRTC launches daily tour packages
The APSRTC announces daily, weekend and holiday package tours from January 1.
Hyderabad: APSRTC has launched package tours to popular tourist destinations in AP like Abohilam, Kuntala, Anantagiri, Basara, Chandagiri and Wargalkeesara.
Sensing a lucrative opportunity, it has stepped into the Tourism Development Corporation’s territory to operate tours to tourist pla-ces as the APTDC has very limited number of packages to some destinations.
The APSRTC has announced daily, weekend and holiday package tours from January 1, 2014, to various tourist and pilgrim destinations.
Twelve package tours will be introduced under categories of ‘daily’, ‘weekend’ and ‘holiday’ package tours.
Daily packages include Tirupati-Kanipakam-Vellore and Srisailam-Sakshi Ganapathi-Paladhara-Panchdhara-Hathkeshwaram-Srikaram-Srisailam dam and Pathalaganga tours.
Weekend and holiday packages offer Vishakhapatnam-Araku Borra Caves, MountainView, Coffee Plantations-Vishakhapatnam; Nizamabad-Kuntala Pochera falls-Nirmal Handicrafts and Nizamabad.
Package tours are for Hanamkonda, Kurnool, Hyderabad, Anantapur, Kadapa, Tirupati and Nirmal tours.
