Nikhat Banu bags silver in National TT

Hyderabad: Hyderabad paddler Nikhat Banu on Saturday bagged a silver medal in the women’s doubles category at the ongoing 75th senior national table tennis championships at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna on Saturday.

Nikhat — representing Airports Authority of India — has already won a bronze in the team championships. Nikhat and Krittwika Sinha Roy were defeated by the experienced Railways duo of Anindita Chakraborty and Pallabi Kundu 1-3 (11-9, 6-11, 10-12, 5-11) in the final.
