Kottayam: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who underwent angiogram at the Medical College Hospital here on Monday is stable.

Chandy was admitted to the hospital after he complained of pain in the chin. He was suffering from  low blood pressure,  Dr Tiji Thomas, superintendent of the MCH, said.

There was speculation earlier that the CM had suffered a mild heart attack.  “In the angiogram, everything was normal, and there are no abnormalities in the test.

We are ruling out even a mild heart attack,” Dr Tiji said. He has been advised rest for two days.
