It seems that titles commencing with the letter ‘A’ work wonders for Suriya! 'Ayan' and 'Aadhavan' were huge blockbusters, and now his highly anticipated film with Lingusamy has been titled 'Anjaan' (one who has no fear). Apparently, the title signifies Suriya’s character in the movie. The announcement was made by UTV Motion Pictures recently which joins hands with Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers as co-producer for Anjaan for the third time after Vettai and Ivan Veramaathiri.

Suriya sports a new look for the movie and its first schedule was shot in Mumbai over 335 days. Playing his romantic interest is Samantha Ruth Prabhu and the bilingual in Tamil and Telugu has a host of Bollywood actors, including Vidyut Jamwal, Manoj Bajpai, Dalip Tahil and T’town comedian Brahmanandam.  Hot dancing sensation Maryam Zakaria has been roped in for a special song sequence with Suriya which was also shot recently in Mumbai.

“The film is being directed and canned in never before seen locations with huge sets. A total mass entertainer with a new theme, I am confident it will greatly appeal to the audience when it releases in August 2014,” said writer-director N. Lingusamy. While Santhosh Sivan is behind the camera, Yuvan composes the music.
