Vishal is a spirited man these days, working overtime to see his upcoming flick, 'Naan Sigappu Manithan', directed by Thiru, wrapped up fast without compromising on quality. While Lakshmi Menon essays his romantic interest in a performing role, sources say ‘water’ plays almost a character and is associated with the lead protagonist in NSM. The lucky pair has been shooting underwater sequences for the last few days in the city.
Talking about Vishal’s portrayal, Thiru says, “His is a fresh role which does not remind one of any character seen before in Tamil cinema. The story itself is something new to Tamil audiences.”?On Lakshmi’s smooching scene with Vishal (which this newspaper broke) he says, “She understood the sequence in which the crucial kissing scene appears. Even as I narrated the script, I explained the scene to her and she agreed to it. It’s a thriller that is well within reality.” He says that people ask him if Vishal gave him his third film only because he was his friend. “Being a friend, he can only help me out monetarily. Will he agree to do a film with me?” Thiru retorts. “It is my story which impressed him,” he adds. G.V. Prakash composes the music. Vishal Film Factory and UTV produce the movie.
