ANR?is fit to start shooting
Nagarjuna says that his father is recovering now and is fit to re-shoot few scenes from 'Manam'.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who was suffering from cancer is recovering now. “He is in fine condition and we are spending time together,” says Nagarjuna. His father is now sharing his childhood memories with his family, something he had never done before. “He is talking about his younger days, even before he started acting in movies,” says Nagarjuna. One such memory is: “He wanted to buy a Poplin shirt and for that he helped somebody and was paid with a bag of rice. The price of that rice bag was Rs 2.50 at that time. The shirt cost him four anas (nalugu kaneelu).” Every day he watches movies. Recently, he visited the studio and spent time with the staff. “He has seen the rushes of 'Manam' and wants to re-shoot as the earlier parts are not good, he feels. He is getting ready for that,” says Nag.
