Chennai: “All records are meant to be broken and if my records are broken, it better be by an Indian,” said retired Indian superstar cricketer Sachin Tendulkar addressing school students here on Friday.
Sachin also shared his experiences of life saying “There will be tough times in life but you should never give up. In tough times tough people last.” Sachin landed in the city on Friday morning accompanied by his wife Anjali.
The 40-year-old cricketer, who retired in November last year, said he adored Sunil Gavaskar and Vivian Richards as his heroes. He also praised Ravi Shastri, Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni for their captaincy.
