Death threat to Kochouseph Chittilappally

Kochi: Industrialist Kochouseph Chittilappally has revealed that he has been receiving death threats from CPM activists. He  told DC that he received a TPC-model attack threat from a worker saying “Oru Innova Koodi Irakendi Varumo.” Chittilappally, however, responded that he knew the meaning and that he was not scared.

“I am getting many threatening messages and phone calls but at present am not planning to take any legal action,” he said and added that he was getting threats from the party sympathisers through Facebook.

A top CPM leader in  Ernakulam district  brushed aside Chittilappally's remarks. “He is desperate to  get public attention and that is the reason behind all these allegations,” a top leader said. Kochi City Police Commissioner K.G. James said that police had not received any complaint from the industrialist.
