Nayan’s ‘Raja Rani’ in Telugu

The Tamil hit Raja Rani starring Nayantara and Arya in the lead roles is set for a Telugu release as well. The makers want to cash in on Nayan’s popularity in Andhra Pradesh as well. The film has been directed by Atlee Kumar and produced by popular director A. R. Murugadoss.

The story revolves around a married couple, says Murugadoss. “Arya, who has separated from his lover, and Nayantara, who has also broken up with her boyfriend, come together and get married to each other. But they are not able to forget their earlier relationships and struggle to continue their marriage,” he shares.

The first-time producer also praises Atlee Kumar for doing a brilliant job in directing the film.

Raja Rani is slated to hit the screens in the first week of February, while the audio launch is expected later this month.
