Siren’s song now trendy

From Blake Lively to Priyanka Chopra, it seems every celebrity with a glorious mane of hair has been charmed by the “siren waves” look for their locks. The retro style, once popular in the 1940s, keeps making a comeback on red carpets the world over, signifying as it does, a more elegant, graceful era.

Getting the siren waves or curls isn’t terribly difficult. After shampooing, blow-dry your hair straight. With your hair parted the way you want (a side part works well for this look), brush it down along both sides of your face, dividing it into sections about 3 inches wide.

Next, take a section of hair from the front and gently curl it around a hot roller, winding the strands from their tips towards the scalp around the rod. Hold for a minute and then unwind.

Once the process has been repeated for all the sections of hair, gently brush your hair out so the curls loosen into waves. Apply a little serum on the strands to make them shiny and smooth. Finish with hairspray for the perfect screen siren look.
