The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) have once again reaffirmed its position as the best club in the State this season.
The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) have once again reaffirmed its position as the best club in the State this season, as they clinched the State Inter-club Volleyball title, sinking Navi, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-19, in the final held at Kasargod.
This season, KSEB have found superb form so far as their team members, playing for Thiruvananthapuram, have already clinched the state senior championship. KSEB have also reigned supreme in several all-Kerala volleyball tournaments held this season.
“The season is so far great and I am happy with the results. The preparations we had started long back have helped us,” says KSEB coach V.C. John. “We have added some players and bolstered our weaker positions. With the new and experienced blood in the team, we had a deadly mix,” he said.
KSEB seasoned spiker Ajesh is excited about the results. “It is good that we are back in our winning ways. We hope we can end the season with the same form,” said the blocker, who played for the state team.
