Vishnu plays cricket on-screen
Vishnu Vishal, who is on a signing spree, is all set to play the role of a cricketer in director Suseenthiran’s next flick.
Vishnu, who is busy shooting for 'Mundasupatti' and 'Kalakura Maapula', has signed his next flick with director Suseenthiran. In this film, Vishnu is all set to showcase his real-life cricketing skills on screen for the first time. A professional cricketer who emerged as one of the highest run-scorers in the Celebrity Cricket League tournament (CCL) last year, is now a happy man as he plays the role of a cricketer in this flick. Interestingly, Vishnu made his debut on the silver screen in the film, 'Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu', directed by Suseenthiran, which was based on kabaddi, a popular sport in south India. When DC contacted the actor, he says, “I am really excited to team up with Suseenthiran after a long time. I should have done a film with him two years back which was even titled, 'Veera Dheera Soora', but unfortunately, we were not able to. Now finally, we are all set to start the project. My role as a cricketer in this flick is like a dream come true. I am emotionally attached to this film.” Sri Divya of 'Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam' will play the female lead.
