Those looking to make a correction in the list can also submit the necessary forms to their zonal offices.

Those who have any questions on the elections can contact the corporation helpline 1913, for information.

A dedicated helpline could be opened to deal with poll related complaints after the Lok Sabha election dates are notified, according to Ripon Building sources.

The Tirunelveli district administration has nominated 16 officers to train those on poll duty. “We are gearing up for the polls and have already appointed booth level officers.

At present awareness campaigns are being conducted across the district to motivate more people to cast their vote,” said Tirunelveli district collector M. Karunakaran.

“The election work is on  as per schedule and is being periodically reviewed,” said Kancheepuram district collector K Baskaran.

Other district collectors and election officers too have begun working similarly with the parliamentary elections now only months away.
