Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao passes away
The Dada Saheb Phalke award winner died in his sleep, after battling cancer for few months.

Hyderabad: Legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao passed away in the early hours today after battling cancer for several months. He was 91.
A Dada Saheb Phalke award winner, Rao, who acted in all times hits like Tenali Rama Krishna, Devdas, Maya Bazaar and Missamma, died in his sleep, his actor son Nagarjuna said here.
Roa is survived by three daughters and two sons. The body will be taken to Annapurna studios owned by the family to enable his fans and film personalities to pay their last tributes.
In a carrier spanning almost seven decades Nageswara Rao acted in around 250 films. He was currently acting in a film titled "Manam" which casts three generations of actors of his family.
