Marching Forward
It’s going to be a great March for gamers as Infamous and Titanfall prepare for release.
Every once a while, the release windows for games all line up, and we get explosive months. Mostly, those months come right before the holiday season, designed to milk the Western world off their Christmas cash. This time, because of the next-gen consoles, everything became a bit skewed. So March was picked to be THE month this year, and whether you like it or not, you’re probably going to find a new game releasing around the next four weeks to your liking. Starting with the new Thief, you can be in for some sneaking and meandering as the atmosphere of The City grips you. This one is supposed to be a reboot of the beloved franchise, and you should be interested if you’re into stealth.
Also, there’s PlayStation 4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son. Designed with open-world mayhem in mind, you should be interested if you’re into the Prototype games and just like to mess around with super powers in a giant sandbox setting. This is also supposed to be the currently poised PS4 killer app, so be aware. Next up is a weird trio. South Park: The Stick of Truth is an RPG at heart, but it’s mainly there to show off that someone can sit with those dudes and make a video game that looks totally like the show. Lots of South Park level jokes and attack moves concerning farts are totally involved. Titanfall, of course, is the new big multiplayer shooter everyone is talking about. Rest assured, you’d want to be in the know about this. And lastly, is Dark Souls 2, which basically involves dying a lot. And some fantasy lore battles and stuff. Yes, all of that.
