Asus announces two new graphics cards
The cards are overclocked from reference to boost their performance
ASUS unveiled two new 3D-gaming graphics cards, the GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750, equipped respectively with the powerful GeForce GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 graphics-processing units. The cards are overclocked for performance, up to 52MHz, faster than reference. The new GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 cards benefit from ASUS technologies and tools including dust-proof fans for improved card lifespan and Super Alloy Power components for superior stability. They also include GPU Tweak, an easy-to-use tuning software that helps users to squeeze out the performance out of their graphics card and stream on-screen action over the internet in real time.
The GTX 750 has a 1059MHz overclocked base clock and runs as fast as 1137MHz when boosted, while the GTX 750 Ti is overclocked at 1072MHz, which can be upscaled up to 1150 MHz when boosted. This means latest 3D games can be enjoyed with very high detail levels of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels with minimal slowdown.
Both cards benefit from a unique fan design and layout that help dissipate heat more efficiently while offering effective resistance to the intake of dust and other particulates. While the GTX 750 has one of these dust-proof fans, the GTX 750 Ti is cooled by two. The overall lifespan is increased by up to 25 percent by using this cooling technology.
The cards are presently available in the market. The GTX750 and the GTX750 Ti will retail at Rs 15,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively, exclusive of taxes.
