Hundreds take part in DC quiz on third day

Hyderabad: The citywide Deccan Chronicle quiz challenge drew big crowds on Wednesday as it toured colleges in Hyderabad for the third day.
Day 3 of the preliminary rounds saw the quiz being conducted at two venues at the Kasturba Gandhi college for women, at Marredpally, and at the Amity Global Business School, Banjara Hills. Hundreds of students gathered at each of the venues as quizmaster Dr. Radhika Shankar,  from the TMI e2e Academy, kicked off the contest between participants, who took questions from the fields of arts, business, history, science and sports.

The qualifying teams of students going into the semifinals from the colleges so far are: Niranjan Reddy and Jishnu from the Nizam College. Chandershekar and Bhargav from VNR Vignan Jyothi, Ujwal and Venkatesh from the Amity Global Business School  and Shaavya Kadim and Megha Mudhalkar from the Kasturba Gandhi College for Women.
The Deccan Chronicle Hyderabad quiz challenge goes on till the end of March and is a first of its kind contest for city students, in which nearly 20 colleges have registered so far.
