Carmakers are banking on small SUVs to turn their business in Europe's still-fragile market

Geneva: Carmakers are banking on the fast-growing demand for small SUVs ,which will help them to earn new customers in the US.
Citroen introduced Cactus and Volkswagen rolled out the concept of T-Roc at the Geneva Auto Show on Tuesday. South Korea's SsangYong will also launch the XLV sport utility vehicles soon.
The market for small SUVs is one of the fastest-growing market segments in the US. It has also been successful in attracting customers by manufacturing tall cabin, big cargo area, fuel efficiency and maneuverability. Small SUVs have proven themselves more recession-resistant.
