Brother Nagababu ditches Pawan Kalyan for Chiranjeevi
Pawan Kalyan is going to announce future plans, his party's manifesto at a programme on Friday
Hyderabad: Actor Pawan Kalyan is not getting much support from his family on his political aspirations.
After Pawan announced his new political party, Jana Sena, his brother Nagababu released a statement on Thursday announcing his support for Chiranjeevi.
“Today, if our family members, including me, Pawan Kalyan, Charan and Bunny, are famous, it’s only because of Chiranjeevi. So, I have decided to support Chiranjeevi Annayya, along with fans,” he said in the statement.
When contacted, he said, “I am not into politics. I have sent a press release, please go through it.”
While it was known that things were not rosy between the brothers, Nagababu’s statement has now put fans in a dilemma. It has been noticed that Chiranjeevi's fans gravitated towards Pawan Kalyan after the former joined politics.
Meanwhile, thousands of fans are expected to converge in Hyderabad tomorrow when Pawan Kalyan officially launches his new political party.
Pawan Kalyan is the lone speaker tomorrow. He will announce future plans and the party's manifesto. He is also likely to explain why he came into politics. There are strict instructions from the actor that the programme be on time and not chaotic.
The team has hired 500 bouncers and 300 private security people, and 200 police people. People can also watch proceedings live outside venue Novotel hotel as huge television screen have been installed.
