Jaganmohan Reddy most googled politician in Andhra Pradesh
According to Google trends, Jagan in same league as Modi, Rahul and Kejriwal
Hyderabad: Ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy tops the google list as the most searched politician in Andhra Pradesh, according to Google’s latest search trends.
The data which has been collected over the last three months from Andhra Pradesh, shows that the politician falls in the same league as Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal.
Among fellow politicians of the state, Jagan has significantly raced ahead of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and TRS leader Chandrasekhar Rao in the search numbers.
Jagan's search volume from Andhra Pradesh is about half from Narendra Modi and nearly two-thirds of Kejriwal.
This search result clearly indicates the interest of netizens in national politics who consider him at par with the big political leaders.
While most searches were from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijaywada too had substantial amount of search queries, as per the data.
YSRCP issued a press release on Thursday saying that its official Facebook page crossed more than 3 lakh likes in 10 months. It also said that online community portal that the party launched to share content on rival parties and to promote its online activities, has contributed to the party's increasing online popularity.
