MK Alagiri, son meet Rajnikanth

Though Superstar Rajinikanth has clearly announced his decision not to enter politics and concentrate only on cinema, time and again, his innumerable fans are still expecting him to change his decision and plunge into the fray and lead the state. So, the actor’s words and deeds are closely watched at this crucial time with elections around the corner.

Apparently, when former Union Minster M.K. Alagiri, who was recently expelled from his party, visited the Superstar at his Poes Garden residence along with his producer son, Dhayanidhi Alagiri, on Friday, it raised many eyebrows. That was enough for wagging tongues to speculate.

However, Dhayanidhi maintained that it was a friendly meeting and wrote on his microblog as “Dad wished the one and only Superstar at his residence on the super hit audio launch of Kochadaiiyaan  I went along and got his blessings.” He added, “One of the great human beings I have ever met in my life. Long live our Superstar.” He also posted a picture along with Rajinikanth on his Twitter account.
