Kerala CM Oommen Chandy taunts LDF on candidate line-up

Kottayam:The LDF  is in trouble  as it has not found proper candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, chief minister Oommen Chandy said here on Saturday.

Speaking at the UDF’s election convention at the KPS Menon hall, he said,  “Though the UDF had completed its candidates’ list,  the LDF is still continuing discussions.” It is a testimony to the fact that CPM is not getting proper candidates to contest on its symbol because of its distance with the people,  he added.

KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran said that the LDF was trying for an alternative at  the national level with the remnants of the third front which was destroyed in the last elections. Finance minister K.M. Mani, Mr Jose K. Mani  and other leaders attended the meeting.
