Dell admits to replacing the LCDs on their XPS hybrid laptops citing an LCD burn-in issue. According to ComputerWorld, users complained of bright images staying on the screen for a while and then fading away, when switched to a darker background.

The LCD is manufactured by a third-party source and Dell has agreed that the issue is present with the LCDs. Dell has asked for LCD replacements and will pass it on to its affected customers accordingly.
