NRI Chandrasekhar Buddha’s blueprint to growth
London-based man’s presentation wins widespread acclaim online
Visakhapatnam: It’s not only youngsters and intellectuals drawing strategies for the development of the successor state of Andhra Pradesh, NRIs too, are taking active part in spreading the advantages of the coastal Andhra and Rayalseema regions and to develop them on a fast pace. They are also open to offer suggestions to the new Government that is going to be formed after the polls, raising hopes for the future generations.
Bifurcation is over, what next for Andhra? A London-based NRI, Chandrasekhar Buddha, with roots in Vizag, has prepared an hour-long presentation, collecting data and statistics from various sources, including several government departments. Parts of the information were also accessed from the report submitted by the Justice B.N. Sri Krishna Committee, appointed by the Union Government, to look into the demand for Telangana.
“A rich Andhra, How we can we develop Andhra State,” a video, has gone viral on social networking sites and got over thousands of clicks in just five days after it was uploaded on YouTube.
The presentation also offers suggestions like dividing 13 districts of the successor state into two administrative parts, “Visa City” between Vizianagaram and Kakinada for single window clearances of investment proposals, conducting “Beach Premium League” (BPL) regularly by inviting international clubs to hold various water sports tournaments like surfing, beach volley ball and football, et al.
The presentation also offered solutions and suggestions for many contentious issues. It elaborates on how the existing airport in Vizag can be developed, into a world-class international airport, by adding more terminals. Vizag can also become a travel hub to go to many Asian countries,” Chandrasekhar Buddha told this correspondent.
He added that the proposed BPL would help in creating a brand for the new state, and can put Seemandhra on global map, and more foreign exchange.
“Everyone was dejected when we lost Hyderabad to Telangana. I have made this video to spread awareness among the youth, about the potential of the new state, to develop in all spheres and also to give suggestions to the politicians,” the NRI said .
