Red Giant to distribute Nedunchalai
The movie is based on a real life story which happened in the 1980s
Director Krishna’s (of Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame) wait has finally paid off! Krishna’s upcoming flick, Nedunchalai, which has a period backdrop, was in the making for some time.
The movie was recently screened for biggie Udhayanidhi Stalin and the actor/producer seemed to have been impressed with it and agreed to distribute it through his Red Giant Movies banner. A road story, the movie is set in 1980 and has Aari and Shivda in the lead.
“The movie is based on a real life story which happened in the 1980s. I have added romance in it and made it interesting”, Krishna tells DC. Sathya’s music is said to be a high point of Nedunchalai.
Apparently, AR Rahman’s compositions in the Suriya-Jothika- Bhoomika starrer, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, won accolades and several awards for Isai Puyal as well as playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. Nedunchalai, whose audio was unveiled by AR Rahman, is hitting the cinema halls by March 2.
