April 2, 2014: ASUS has  launched its new UHD Monitor ‘PQ321QE’ in India. The monitor has 31.5-inch 4K display, comprising of 3840 x 2160 resolution and 140 pixels per inch (PPI) for impeccable visuals.

Using the ultra-wide viewing angle, Its anti-glare LED-backlit IGZO display helps in delivering precise images. This also includes a DisplayPort and built-in 2W stereo speakers.
The ASUS PQ321QE 4K UHD monitor has 10-bit RGB panels and features an anti-glare Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) panel rather than traditional amorphous silicon. The IGZO panel supports smaller transistors than amorphous silicon, which allows for much smaller pixels and much better detail.

Speaking on the launch of this monitor, Vinay Shetty, Country Head of Component Business, ASUS (India) said, “The ASUS PQ321QE is our new flagship product from our display range and a true 4K UHD monitor that provides stunning visuals with an ultra-high definition 3840 x 2160 resolution. It provides every bit of detail, far surpassing that of a Full HD monitor. With four times the resolution of Full HD (FHD) and over 8 million pixels, users can experience larger screen real estate and clarity.”

Coupled with ultra-wide 176-degree viewing angles on both vertical and horizontal planes, it delivers a pristine image from virtually any angle. The IGZO panel also supports increased pixel transparency and reduced current leakage for increased energy savings.
