Andhra Pradesh Governor cancels post graduate medical entrance test
He directed the officials to re-conduct the test
Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Wednesday cancelled the scam-ridden PG medical entrance test conducted by the NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) on March 2.
He directed the officials to re-conduct the test and a fresh exam date is expected to be announced in a day or two.
The Governor’s decision follows the investigation by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) into irregularities in the entrance test which had established the leakage of question papers.
The CID had arrested some brokers and students involved in the scam last week and submitted a report to the Governor on its findings. The investigation is still going on with the questioning of officials of the NTRUHS and the investigating agency has launched a nation-wide hunt to nab the remaining accused.
