Clandestine? Not anymore

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone made a starry entry on the sets of her alleged beau Ranveer Singh’s much-hyped condom ad shoot in Film City. The duo, that has been playing hide-n-seek with the media for a while now, was locked up in the vanity van for quite some time. Later when they emerged, they were seen holding hands and seemed very comfortable in each other’s company.

“Deepika arrived on the sets and asked the crew members if Ranveer was in his van or on the sets. They had lunch together. Both of them were aware of the media presence around them but they didn’t really make any effort to hide their camaraderie,” says a witness. While Ranveer has always been more open about their relationship, Deepika is the one who has underplayed it. However, now it looks like she is willing to acknowledge his presence in her life. “One has often seen and heard of Ranveer travelling to various locations to meet Deepika to spend time with her. This was the first time that Deepika made an effort to see him,” adds the source. According to people close to them, both are now more confident about their relationship and don’t have any reservations about being referred to as a “couple”. Looks like the first move towards coming out in the open has been made.
