Rekha’s comeback film Super Nani, has been postponed by at least a month. Originally slated to arrive on May 1, the film is now expected to release in the latter half of June. The current election season prompted the move.
“Earlier, the makers had zeroed in on May 1 as they wanted to arrive right after the examination season. However, the election itinerary threw a curve ball at them. Director Indra Kumar, who has produced the film along with Ashok Thakeria, felt that it would be best to postpone the release,” says a source. When contacted, Indra Kumar confirmed that the film has been moved to June. The first look is expected to be out in the second half of May.
