Global icon Shah Rukh appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Korea
The actor becomes the first Indian to receive this honour

Delhi: At an event in Delhi, Shah Rukh Khan was announced as the Goodwill Ambassador for Korea. The actor received the honours for the next 2 years. He recently wrapped up a song of his upcoming film, 'Happy New Year' and flew to Delhi for the event. He is the first Indian to receive this honour. Hosted in Gurgaon, he received this honour from Korean envoy to India Joonngyu Lee.
In December 2008, he received the title of ‘Datuk' from the Governor of Malaysia’s southern Malacca state, Mohamad Khalil Yaacob.
