Hyderabad: TRS Chevella Lok Sabha candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is confident of a large chunk of Seemandhra settlers in Hyderabad voting for the TRS and not the TDP.

“This election, we are sure of at least 30 per cent of them (settlers) voting for the TRS and by the next elections, 90 per cent of them will vote for us. They are aware that the TRS will work for Telangana and they want to be part of that development,” he said.

“The state can be developed only by a regional party. The Delhi parties will be in Delhi while the Andhra party will be in Andhra; after the polls, no one will be interested in the development of Telangana state. Neighbouring Tamil Nadu has its own regional party that has been ruling the state for years now and it is way ahead of Telangana. The TRS is the only party comprising of intellectuals and experts who are in the party to aid in the development of Telangana,” said Mr Reddy.

Addressing party cadres in Rajendranagar on Friday, he added that the TRS poll manifesto had been framed by the same experts.
