Google Glasses available for Rs 93,000 today
Google will sell the Glass only to the US public, only for today
For one day today, April 15 2014, Google announced that they will be selling the Google Glass to the US public.
BBC reported that only those who are 18 years and above will be qualified for the Glass which will be priced for $1,500. UK might be the next in line in May or June this year. This will make UK the first country to get their hands on the gadget after US.
The tech giant has already sold as many as 8,000 units in 2013 which was part of their Explorer programme. Google stated that they were excited to meet new Explorers and cannot wait to hear about their thoughts.
The price of $1,500 is a bit too high for a gadget that is still having a limited functionality, but the aim to sell the product is to further develop the Glass using individual feedback from those who will buy it.
So if you are thinking of being one of those few people who could get your hands on the device, you need to register yourself for one online. However, do note that the device is still in development and a price of $1,500 (Approx Rs 93,000). It would be advisable to opt for one which will be completely ready for use after all developments are made and the price would also be cheaper than what it is now.
