Chennai Super Kings unveil new jersey
The credibility of the Chennai Super Kings, was badly hit last season by allegations of betting and spot-fixing
Chennai: Chennai Super Kings skipper M.S. Dhoni on Monday unveiled the new jersey of his team for the upcoming IPL season. The two-time champions have added UST Global as a new sponsor for this season.
With regards to the jersey, Dhoni tweeted, “Our match jersey is the same with a few diff sponsors, practice 1 has more blue in it compared to yellow which is looking good.” Sajan Pillai, CEO of UST Global, said: “I am delighted to be announcing this partnership with the Chennai Super Kings on the eve of the seventh edition of the IPL. They are innovators and pioneers of what has become one of the most valuable sports leagues in the world, and an ideal partner for our expanding business.”
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Singh, president of marketing, India Cements, said that they are proud to be associated with UST Global. “As a brand, the CSK has over the years constantly innovated and created many platforms to spread the game amongst its fans. As with our other sponsors, we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with UST Global and we are sure that this association will accelerate our engagement with a whole new fan base,” he added.
