Google will officially read all emails
Google officially announced that all emails will be analysed by them
On April 14, 2014, Google made a few changes to their online Privacy and Terms, which states that they will analyse all content that passes through their servers from your Google accounts.
ArsTechnica reported that the move came soon after Google was roped into a lawsuit over a recent email-scanning incident where plaintiffs complained that Google was violating their privacy. Email users brought the lawsuit against Google in 2013 alleging that the tech giant was violating the wiretapping laws and was found scanning through their emails. Some even complained that though they were not sending emails from their Google account, all their emails that were received were a006Cso scanned.
Below are screenshots of the new terms that Google has put up on their website. The new Privacy and Terms makes the scanning practice very clear from Google.
