For N. Srinivasan, it was hit-wicket

Chennai: N. Srinivasan, president-in-exile or president-in-abeyance of the BCCI, may have placed himself in an untenable position with regard to continuing as India’s representative in the International Cricket Council.

 

Mr Srinivasan was named along with 12 leading cricketers in a confidential report on the IPL spot and match-fixing and betting scandal prepared by the Justice Mudgal Committee at the behest of the Supreme Court. This materially alters his position with regard to bringing the game into disrepute.
