Vishwas, fielded in Amethi against Rahul Gandhi and BJP's Smriti Irani, has been constantly levelling allegations against his rivals. Previously he had said that the Gandhi family had always "emotionally blackmailed" the people of Amethi.
Vishwas had said, “Gandhis have always emotionally blackmailed the innocent people of Amethi and now it is proper time to get rid of the clutches of these magicians in the interest of Amethi, which still needs more and more development in all respects”.
