NASA discovers another Earth
Astronomers discover first same-size planet in a habitable zone that could support alien life
Washington, D.C.: In what could be termed as the discovery of this millennium, astronomers have finally found a second earth.
Kepler-186f planet is just 500 light years away from us and is 1.1 times the size of Earth.
The planet was discovered by NASA's Kepler mission and is among the firsts to hold liquid water after Earth, which obviously means that it could support alien life as well.
NASA's tweet on the news has already gone viral on all social media platforms.

Though Kepler telescope was able to find many other planets before, most were uninhabitable worlds that are either too large or orbit too close to their host star to support life.
Kepler-186f is the first similar-sized world to be found that is in the habitable zone or ‘Goldilocks zone’ of a star.
