Tirupati : The BJP national leader, Prakash Javadekar, opined that the twin factors, ‘inflation & corruption’ are the hallmark of Congress led successive UPA governments which led the nation to the brink of literal collapse.
Addressing media persons in the temple town of Tirupati on Sunday, Mr Javadekar stepped up the offensive against the UPA and said the Congress led governments spread its ugly tentacles of corruption in literally every sphere, and did not spare even the ‘Panchaboothas,’ which are evident from the land allotment scams, helicopter scams and so on.
Stating that the people of the nation are vexed with ten long years of the Congress rule, which is filled with scams and corruption, and a policy paralysis owing to its absolute misrule, he said the people across the country are in the process of bringing about a change by strengthening the BJP. Pointing out to the trends of polling, in the four phases of polls, held across the country so far, he exuded confidence that the BJP led NDA would form the next government at the Centre and bring about the much anticipated change.
The mood among the people against the Congress party is such that the party would not get even double digits, in terms of Parliament seats, across the nation, the BJP leader added. He said that the saffron party, which was restricted in terms of its presence to just one state in the southern part of India had gained ground ever since the BJP announced Narendra Modi as its prime ministerial candidate, and exuded confidence that the party would bag close to 55 seats out of the 129 LS seats in south.
