Actress Vishakha Singh is currently busy shooting for director Kannan’s Tamil film Oru Oorula Irendu Raja in Chennai. Despite the choc-a-bloc schedule, the actress has requested special permission from the director for a day off so that she can fly to Mumbai and cast her vote on April 24. The director was only  too happy to oblige and the star cast and crew were sort of impressed with Vishakha’s sense of social responsibility. Apparently, the entire team will be exercising it’s right to vote as well.

Vishakha, who is now enjoying a great run with big productions across all major film industries, is known to be very choosy about her roles. It has been revealed that director Kannan is someone the actress looks up to.

Also her role in OOIR is being kept a tight secret and she confirmed to DC that it is a strong role that proves to be a catalyst in the film. Vishakha is also delighted as she is working with best friend Priya Anand, in OOIR. This will be Vishakha’s second film with Priya, after the Hindi flick, Fukrey.

The actress will also be seen in the lead role in an upcoming Tamil film Vaaliba Raja which also stars popular Tamil funny man Santhanam.
