CPI: Modi, Naidu can’t get power
CPI general secretary, said no power can make Modi as PM and Chandrababu Naidu as CM
Hyderabad: The CPI general secretary, Mr Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, said no power can make Narendra Modi as Prime Minister and N. Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Minister.
“Corporate organisations are pouring thousands of crores for the victory of BJP prime ministerial nominee, Mr Narendra Modi. They say no power can stop Mr Modi from becoming the Prime Minister and Mr Naidu the Chief Minister. In fact, no power can make them PM and CM,” Mr Sudhakar Reddy said.
The CPI is also irked by the Congress rebels in the seats allotted to them in the alliance deal in Maheshwaram, Munugode and Yellampally Assembly constituencies.
“The Congress should take immediate steps to see that the rebels in the seats given to us withdraw from the contest,” he added.
Mr Sudhakar Reddy also took strong exception to Mr Narendra Modi comments the latter made during his whirlwind tour of Telangana that the Congress killed the mother while giving birth to Telangana. The comments are highly inappropriate, he said.
Referring to the failure to forge an alliance with the TRS, he blamed the latter for the same saying that the party fielded candidates even while alliance talks were on between the CPI and the TRS.
