YSR Congress leaders bid tearful farewell to Shobha Nagi Reddy

Anantapur: YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family members paid their last respects to party leader Shobha Nagi Reddy, who died in a road mishap on Thursday, at Allagada in Kurnool district on Friday.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, his mother and party honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi, sister Sharmila and wife Bharati and several others arrived by helicopter to Allagadda.
They consoled the bereaved family members, including Shoba Nagi Reddy’s husband Bhuma Nagi Reddy and their children. Ms Vijayalakshmi, who was close to the departed leader, was teary eyed as she approached the body to pay her the respects.
Ms Vijayamma, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and Ms Sharmila have suspended their campaigning for two days to mourn the sudden death of the party’s senior leader and MLA candidate.
A large number of YSR Congress and other party leaders from all over the state reached Allagadda to pay their last respects to Shoba Nagi Reddy.
Her body was shifted from the Hyderabad Care Hospital where she died, and was kept at her residence in Allagadda since Thursday night, making it convenient for people to pay their last respects.
She had suffered serious injuries on Wednesday when her car overturned several times after the driver suddenly applied the brakes and died in the hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday.
