Manmohan Singh said Congress established prestigious institutions in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that the Congress was committed to develop both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and cautioned the electorate not to fall in the trap of parties who were claiming that they and not the Congress had achieved the separate state.
 
He said that the UPA government at the Centre and the Congress government in AP had established several prestigious institutions of international standards in Hyderabad city and added that the brand image of Hyderabad city would further improve if the Congress came to power.
 
Listing the achievements of the UPA government like delivering 14 crore people from poverty, 11 crore students provided midday meals etc., the Prime Minister said that the Congress would give priority to agriculture and industrial development and youth would be provided employment.
 
AICC leaders Digvijay Singh, Vayalar Ravi and state leaders attended the meeting.
