1. Amal holds a L.L.B. degree from Oxford University, where she won the Shrigley Award, and also holds a Masters of Law (L.L.M.) degree from New York University School of Law (And there she earned the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for excellence in entertainment law!).

2. She currently is a barrister in London and she works in the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights, apart from domestic courts in the U.K. and the U.S.

3. Alamuddin has represented the controversial Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuila Tymonshenko before the European Court of Human Rights.

4. The lawyer is also a scholar and has co-authored and edited a lot of law-based books.

5. Alamuddin has served as a guest lecturer on international criminal law at the University of London, The New School in New York, The Hague Academy of International Law, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
