Mohanlal joins the list of ‘dialect’ actors

Kochi: With the release of the teaser of director Srinath Rajendran’s second movie Koothara, a bit more about the movie is coming to light. Even though not much of the campus thriller’s storyline is revealed, the teaser shows Mohanlal conversing in typical Kozhikode slang.

Mohanlal’s cameo appearance in the movie had already received much attention, thanks to his unusual get up. This new twist to the character adds to the drama and heightens audience expectations.

With this, Mohanlal is joining the long list of Mollywood actors who are attempting slangs in their upcoming movies like Biju Menon trying out the Kottayam slang in the upcoming movie Vellimoonga, Kunchako Boban speaking Thrissur slang in Shylock and so on.
