AAP blamed BJP workers of attacking his party volunteers

Lucknow: Two AAP workers in Varanasi were attacked, allegedly by BJP supporters, while they were campaigning for Arvind Kejriwal, late on Monday night.  According to reports,  Ankit Lal, national IT cell coordinator of AAP, and Nandan Misra, an IITian who left his job to work for the party, were attacked when the two were canvassing for  their party.

They were attacked with sticks and rods after which the attackers fled from the scene. A formal complaint in this regard was later filed at Bhelupura police station. AAP’s national spokesman Sanjay Singh has blamed the BJP workers of attacking his party volunteers and leaders.
