Harish Rao slaps defamation notice on Pawan Kalyan

Kalyan, had alleged that Rao had a cable business with Botsa Satyanarayana

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti Siddipet Assembly nominee T. Harish Rao slapped a defamation notice against actor and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, who had alleged that Mr Rao had a cable business with former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.

Mr Rao demanded an unconditional apology through print and electronic media within two days from the date of receipt of the notice, failing which he would initiate criminal and civil proceedings as per the law.
The notice was sent to Pawan Kalyan to his Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad through advocate T. Sriranga Rao.

According to the notice, Pawan Kalyan made repeated “false and baseless statement in the public meeting held at Thorroor village and mandal of Warangal District on April 26 alleging that Mr Harish Rao had business deals with former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.”

“You made such a statement to project that my client is a person who is having a nexus with people of Seemandhra who are against the cause of creation of separate state of Telangana. You have made such statement to project my client in bad light to tarnish his image and reputation and with an intention of defaming him in public in order to achieve your malicious objective of defaming my client,” the notice said.
